Bad Intentions by Ella Frank

By

When it comes to Ella Frank, sleep is not a part of my schedule. I still can’t believe just how fast I’ve breathing through her books, but who can blame me when you’re in for a hell of ride!

Bad Intentions is book 1 in the Intentions Duet! It follows Marcus St. James who we meet back in the Prime Time Series but you can totally jump on this duet without reading that!

We also meet newbie and man I want to protect at all damn costs, Gabriel Romero. He is new to universe but helps us revisit some old characters when he becomes PA to Logan Mitchell, from the Temptation Series!

The most thrilling thing about this book was seeing Ella combine two series world’s as one and it was done to perfection for lasting fans to love and new fans to become curious!

Gabriel Romero, is young and needs a distraction from life, so what better than getting himself a reward when at a party with his roommate. It doesn’t matter that the reward he wants is a big fish in the News World and known as Marcus St. James. Nope, when Gabe sees what he wants he goes for it! Plus it’s only for one night…

Marcus isn’t looking for a commitment and when Gabe or as he first meets him as Logan, captures his eye with his unabashed confidence, he can’t help chaisng him and not letting him go.

When the one night is all said and done, the last thing Gabe expects is his little white lies to blow up back in his face and be needing Marcus to forgive him to ensure he doesn’t lose his new job. This leads to some new fun and dammit if I didn’t enjoy every second of it.

Gabe reminds me a lot of Logan, with his unafraid flirtiness even if it gets him tangled up. He goes for it and that confidence can get him into trouble but it’s usually the kind he likes.

Marcus is a hidden gem, behind the stotic-ness is a confident man who has a sweetness to him even if it comes through subtly.

The coupling couldn’t be more perfect and as they end up spending more time together I loved seeing them let loose to the chemistry sizzling away! Even better was learning more about Gabe and Marcus, I was surprised and loved the fact I couldn’t predict what was to come.

Ella has a way with her words that gets me so lost in the joy of the story that I can’t pick a part what is coming next. That made this all the more fun but packed an emotional punch near the end. As that ending has me pulling my eye lids wide to ensure I don’t sleep tonight, as starting Good Intentions is the most important thing to do right now!!

Blurb:

My name isn’t Logan Mitchell, but Marcus St. James doesn’t know that…

When I showed up at my roommate’s work party, the last thing I expected was to find a man straight out of my dreams. But when the crowd parted and the fates aligned, there he was, waiting for me. Marcus St. James, president of ENN WorldWide News.

Sexy and powerful, with a stare that could freeze you in place, Marcus was the perfect reward for securing a job at Mitchell & Madison, the best law firm in Chicago. To play with the big fish, however, one must become a big fish, and that’s where my little white lie began.

It was one night. I was never going to see him again, and from the second we spoke, I knew he was interested. It was there in his eyes, the same fire in my veins. It was there in his voice, whenever he said my name.

The only problem? It wasn’t my name, and now I wanted more—much more.

But how can anything good come out of something that started with such bad intentions?

Bad Intentions is the first book in the Intentions Duet.
