When it’s a Teagan Hunter read I don’t even need to read the blurb before jumping in because I know no matter what I will end up in love with this book! And dare I say it, I was not wrong!
Puck Shy is the first book in Teagan’s new hockey series and it’s full of laughs, slow burn and low angst as I know and love from Teagan!
The story starts with Harper two second away from running over Collin with her car. Feeling bad and since he needs help getting home with all his bad luck causing his car to breakdown, she trust her gut and gives him a life.
That mini roadtrip is full of chemistry but nothing becomes of it as they part ways, that is until they collide matching on a dating app. One thing – Collins kept his identity, very famous identity, a bit of secret from her twice now.
He hasn’t had the greatest luck and loved the attention of not being know for what the rest of the world knows about him and so holds his cards a little too close to his chest. However, sometimes when you want someone enough you can forgive them for their mistakes.
Harper and Collin have great chemistry and there’s no denying that and so she ends up giving him a shot, but of course small drama arises. Yet again, this book is low angst so know that you will be smiling and having a fun time without getting too beat up with drama.
That’s what I love the most about Teagan’s writing, the fact she can bring out books that are fun and light to help you escapr any drama of real life you need to. Also if you’re a long time reader of Teagan’s as I am, you’ll get giddy and excited by seeing some very old friends! I missed you guys!

Blurb:
I’m having the definition of a bad year.
Game Six loss costing my team the Cup? Check.
Getting arrested and ruining my image? Check.
Almost getting run over after my car breaks down? Oh, look—a hat trick.
My contract is up with the Carolina Comets this year, and I need to get it together if I want to stay with the team.
I need relaxation, not a relationship.
But when I’m scrolling on a dating app and stumble across the pretty girl who almost ran me over, I know I can’t let her walk away this time.
Harper is funny, smart, and doesn’t care about hockey.
I’m not supposed to be focusing on anything other than my career, yet I can’t get Harper off my mind.
I know I shouldn’t fall for her…but I think I already have.
PUCK SHY is a standalone hockey romantic comedy. It’s good, low angst fun with some hot hockey players.
