Why does every Ella Frank book end with my face going something like this (・o・) and I wish I was joking but seriously, every book ends and I’m shocked there’s not more despite there being a full novel waiting for me next! Just needed to make you aware that every Ella Frank series no matter the length will have you craving more by the end!
Henri can be read a standalone in my opinion, along with the book Bailey, however for the full affect and love to be poured I highly suggest you start the series with book 1. You won’t regret falling into this world as the characters as so darn lovable.
I started HENRI around 6pm and kept reading until 2am and the woke up early at 9am to go on and finish this book at 12pm. So I’d say I had an effect Saturday and early Sunday morning with Henri and Bailey!
Henri has been a mystery from the moment we met him early in the series. I’ve been dying to see his side of the story with his relationship and history with Priest so I adored that it was revisited and we got some wonderful interactions.
Bailey is a cop, he came off to be as quite formal and formidable but when you keep learning about him you find that he’s actually a total shy, softie that has fallen for the bad boy. I loved Bailey more and more as I got to uncover his story.
When Bailey bumps into Henri at a wedding it’s instant attraction. Bailey tries our the one night stand thing but things kind of backfire however their paths aren’t done crossing.
The chemistry and connection is too strong for either to deny and despite Bailey being the relationship typr and Henri being the lone wolf type, they both find themselves bending their rules for one another if only for a moment in time together to last a little longer than right now.
I devoured this book if it wasn’t clear already, and it’s very much the bad boy mixing up with the good guy and falling but secrets that threaten to tear them apart linger.
I cannot wait for BAILEY as that book will dive deeper into how strong this connection is and what happens when their trueselves uncover. I really hope their hearts and souls mixing are strong enough as I can only tell a lot of crazy stuff is about to come!!
And before I end this review, I shall say it was so much fun seeing Robbie, Priest and Logan again. The moments when other worlds keep mixing please me wayyy too much!!
