Robbie by Ella Frank

By

I’m totally not crying because I swiped the last page of ROBBIE and saw it was finished, thank freaking goodness I have the rest of the series stashed to go!

Oh Ella Frank I love you so much! You’re a special gem of an author to me. The reason I say this is because I have a small list of authors that I’ve read where I’ve instantly connected and adored them for their writing, so much so I needed to read more. You didn’t let me down because your work just got better, which in turns makes me firm on the choice to keep you as a top favourite author in my books.

Before I get stuck into this series, it can be read as it is but if you want to see a sneak peek of these characters please grab the Temptation Series about Logan and Tate (one of my favourite M/M erotic romances ever) as you will not regret it one bit.

I met Robbie in that series and it was such a joy to fall into his mind again. In this book we follow Robbie, just your average guy working at a bar he loves but missing something in his life.

He’s had a tough breakup and is great to finally be his eccentric self again. It’s especially wonderful as he’s caught the eye of not just one but two men. Two men that want him more than anything.

I won’t spoil anything here but the relationship between Julian, Priest and Robbie was my favourite thing to read. Ella Frank is so amazing at her conversations, as it flits between funny and flirty. Especially Priest’s one liners because DAMN I maybe screeched a few many times at those. *Fans face*

Priest is bossy is a ‘isn’t he a harmless pitbull’ and Julian is snarky in a sweet way. Each character had their quirks and I loved that about them. They were unique and irresistible.

The connection and chemistry was clear as day between all three of them but when they’re all heading into unknown territory where feelings and emotions are actually desired in this coupling, it’s difficult travelling down the narrow road of how to handle things.

I have no doubt that so much more joy and love and drama is to come as Ella Frank weaved in sensitive, touching moments that had me in tears. This story is more than three men finding their missing pieces but it’s about being who you are and knowing you can find someone who’ll love you for you.

Robbie got to shine in this book and every moment had me smiling or crying and smiling. I adored the appearance from Logan that had me screaming and crying. And I also enjoyed the heated moments as much as the sweet ones.

This is book 1 of the Confession Series so expect a cliffhanger of sorts. But overall be sure to enjoy the ride, it’s slow and steady with a few bumps but trust that Ella gives you all the distractions you need to make it through!

Shoutout to my friend Mishie for reccomending me the Temptation Series as this started the journey and I couldn’t be more in love with Robbie!

Blurb:

Relationships are complex.
Love ever-changing.
And when it comes to rules of the heart,
they were made to be broken…

That’s what Robert Antonio Bianchi was telling himself, anyway.
Otherwise, he really had no excuse for what—or who—he’d done.

No excuse, except for his lonely heart, a pitcher of margaritas, four Bitter Bitches, and the apparent need to confess all his weaknesses to the two men he knew would bring him nothing but trouble.

But trouble was nothing new.

Just ask his crazy sisters or any of his friends, and they’d be the first to tell you:
If there was a bad decision to be made, Robbie always had a knack for making it.

And thus begins the story of the priest, the princess, and the prick.
