True by Ella Frank

Peace. If I had to sum up this book, this conclusion, this celebration of a story for a six book series – it would be peace.

It’s been a rocketship of a ride following Logan and Tate on their journey and it feels so bittersweet that this all started with such simple words “try” and “I dare you”.

To say simply this story brings a full freaking circle. I could not stop smiling through every moment in True. It was so sweet and my heart raced like mad at every scene with Logan and Tate buddying closer to an even happier ever after.

This book picks up from the end of Tate. So once again I won’t spoil much but we get the answers we had been dying for and go full speed ahead from there.

True was a celebration, as I’ve said. It’s a party showing just the epitome of how strong and in love Logan and Tate are. We see how they’ve both matured and I couldn’t help getting nostalgic.

From moments where Tate would refuse to want to accept his attraction to Logan, to now him doing things in the bedroom I could have only ever imagined. It’s fair to say I love bossy, mad Tate as much as we get lovable, sweet, charming Tate.

Not just Tate has grown but Logan too. He’s fell into a world where he knows he can accept love and get it back tenfold. He has opened his heart and it’s not closing ever again.

They both mend past relationships or at least grow and move past them, to let themselves live their lives with the people who want to be there.

This book was everything and more than I could have wanted. So thank you Ella. Thank you for bringing to life these two men I’ll forever adore. I’ll read them back again and again because they’re real to me. So real. So your Author Note at the end helps me find so much more peace than an epilogue ever would.

I love to imagine that these two men will continue to live their lives in pure joy and big hearts. I love to think about how they haze Robbie and Cole. I love to think about them growing old and making awful stiff jokes.

You gave us two characters that will never age but will live a liftime in all of our hearts. So thank you, as this series is the epitome of why I, as a reader, read books.

I’d keep going on and on but I’ll end by saying my heart as never been more full. I’ll come back for these two time and time again. So if you haven’t grab Try and give Logan and Tate a try because I promise you won’t regret it.

Blurb:

True – adjective: That which is accurate or exact.

I dare you to try.
I think you’re my truth.
Terrify me.
Marry me.
Marry me.
Marry me…

Four years ago, Logan Mitchell walked into Tate’s life and challenged him to see it differently.

He dared Tate to try a kiss, when normally he wouldn’t have.
He begged him to take a chance, when he probably shouldn’t have.
But most importantly, he asked Tate to trust that he would love him, and he did. From that moment on, Tate realized exactly what his life had been missing—Logan.

Happily-ever-afters come in many different forms. But for Tate Morrison, there’s only one ending he wants. The one where the guy marries the guy and true love conquers all.

Now all he has to do is tell Logan.

Join Logan and Tate as they finally realize what the rest of us knew all along. That they belong together for better or worse—always.
