Easy, what a story. It was as its title is so easy to read and to fall in love with. There was so much depth, emotion and passion within every word in this story.

The story follows Jacqueline, a music major at college who has just newly been dumped. She is starting to move on from that heartbreak and find a path of her own in a place where she feels she doesn’t belong.

Going to her econ class seemed to be a bit of struggle at first seeing as she’d have to see her ex yet when one unexpected and distraught night brings her face to face with a saviour who happens to then be in her econ class, it seems a bit easier to go to.

Lucas is a little withdrawn, he holds back and doesn’t talk but his actions speak a lot. He cares. He has a heart and most of all he’s one of the good guys out here in the world.

He saves Jacqueline, that night after a party when she’s placed in a compromised position and he doesn’t stop to check in with her there. What starts as checking in begins to bloom this connection they can’t deny.

The story follows not only how they build this heartfelt relationship within one another but how being faced with abuse can help build you into a stronger character. One that doesn’t have to live in fear but build on that strength that is within every one of us.

It’s a powerful story, that shows that you shouldn’t ever have to take anything given to you. That you should confide in people you trust becuase keeping something to yourself will only hurt yourself more. And most of all you are never at fault.

A must read story to know that you are never alone and that you can always speak up becuase people will believe you. I loved the message and the love story and the strong sentiment within the message it sends.

I couldn’t be more connected to a story from my heart as a woman than I am right now. So please give this book a chance and spread the message it provides.
